Annmarie is a registered nurse with both a prescribing qualification and RCN validated Masters level Advanced Nurse Practitioner qualification.

Can see assess, diagnose, examine, manage, prescribe, order investigations, interpret results and refer patients of any age with a wide variety of both acute and long term medical conditions as well as health promotion.   Works as an autonomous practitioner providing care as part of a multidisciplinary team meeting patients medical and nursing needs.

Has ongoing support and supervision from doctors within the practice.

Annmarie ANP cannot

Provide care to pregnant women if this involves assessment of the pregnancy.

Sign Medical Certificates (only doctors can do this by law).

Complete medical examinations for the purpose of employment or insurance.

Nurse Annemarie Whitehead (f)

Annmarie completed her training at the Mayday University , London. She also obtained post graduate training in Diabetes, Family Planning, Minor Injuries, Anticoagulation and Travel Health. She was rewarded The Practice Nurse of the year 2009.

Nurses

Mrs Rachael Ewart (f)

Rachael and started working here as a practice nurse in January 2021. Prior to this, she worked as a community nurse in Havering for 6 years and  has a special interest in wound care.

Healthcare Assistants

Miss Lynsey McMurdo (f)

Lynsey started at Central Park in July 2017. She has a Level 2 and 3 diploma in Health and Social Care and a diploma in End of Life Care. She has previously worked in ENT, Dermatology and Palliative care.
